So. Apparently moa hate ghostbore turrets.
Yes, I frequently do this. I try to break the game in new and interesting ways. But only in amusing ways, nothing exploitative, because that’s boring. So, this time, I wanted to know whether the Iron Legion ghostbore turrets would work on the other spawns in the instance.
Guess what? They do! But not only that, they actually draw the aggro of the things they’re shooting at. Here we entertainingly see an annoyed moa attacking a turret with a crane kick. Sadly, despite that moa’s elegant command of bird fu, it was the moa that ended up becoming bird fu’d.
So there you go.
I give you the Binder warband.
Sadly, there’s no windy charr just yet. But that’s because no one wanted to be the charr that controls ill winds.
Yes. This is Team Avacharr.
Or perhaps, you could say… the power is theirs. But of course, for that to work, they’d also need heart. And no one wants to be a giant representation of a pulsating organ whose sole purpose is to gush copious amounts of bodily fluids. No one can be blamed for that.
I may have had a hand in this. But if I did, can you guess which of these characters is mine?
So… justlikesoup and howlitzer-wulf were absolutely insistent that I upload this. So here it is. Caption if you like.
This is my charr ranger, whom I think ended up looking quite cute, almost Disney, and kind of un-charr-like in the general scheme of things. I was pleased with the outcome.
Due to limited time, other than interests which matter to me that I want to bring to my audience, I might start doing this. What this means is that I won’t post bomb you so much, because according to my own research, I find people prefer digest posts rather than post bombing.
Essentially, something that collects together all of the most interesting tidbits of the last while. So that’s what I’m going to do. Again, my time has become limited, so I might miss out on things. As such, I must ask a thing - please either tag your posts as charr or note me about them if you want to see them appear here.
Now, without further ado, I give you digest #1!
“Huh? What’s that thing you’re holding?”
This is an amusing concept. Ah charr innovation, the printing press and so many other neat things, and now pioneering photography.
The funny thing is is that I could see the Ash Legion doing this. It would be invaluable for them to be able to photograph documents rather than steal them, and they could take pictures of a compound to see if they’d catch anything that their naked eye wouldn’t. This would be a very pragmatic and functional Ash Legion tool.
Ten gold says they’re already prototyping the technology, or possibly even using it. And of course, there are charr that like shenanigans. Like Reeva, Dinky, and Maverick. So I could see this happening.

This one’s thanks to Yuki Inu over at FA. It’s pretty damn nifty, I think. And another engineer! I’m being spoiled, today.

Oh, now this is utterly adorable. I’m not sure why they have glowing eyes, but I won’t object, I like them. One thing is a bit off, though - they’re both using the ear configuration found on charr women, and I’m fairly sure it’s a woman and a man in that shot.
With the men, the ears are tucked below the horns, with the women there’s a horn separating the ears.
Anyway, that doesn’t bar my enjoyment of a really awesome piece that just makes me d’awww because it’s so perfect. And look at that pipe, too! How could you not like this?

“That’s what you get for being a separatist. Don’t think it’s so funny pissing on our submarine now, do you?”
I hate the separatists, annoying little ants!
Anyway, we have olafski to thank for this little bit of art! And funny it is, too.
Weaponswitch to Giant Chicken!
Now the real fight can begin!
Haaa. This is a nice note to end the reblogs on.
We might just have to pull you into our little social group, charming. For further shenanigans. This is a thing that might have to happen.
God I love METAL.
/me too
I mean, gods damn. Look at those unicycle-hedgehog tank things. I mentioned those in a recent post where I spoke of the worth of artistic direction, and showing people unusual things they’d never seen before. Screw familiarity, I have a unicycle-hedgehog tank!
And if you can’t appreciate this kind of thing, then… that makes me sad. Yep, you’d make this old bastard sad. Sad that you can’t see how exceptionally rad this is!
