As I’ve only really played with the Iron Legion so far, this is a distinction that I think I didn’t entirely grasp myself. Thanks for the clarification. Maybe next time when I test the Ghostbore cannon, I’ll award it to the Ash Legion instead of the Blood Legion and see what happens. Goodness knows that trying it the Blood Legion way turned out to be unexpectedly frustrating until I figured out what it was and where it was that my player character needed to be out…hopefully Ash will be more forthcoming about the required information. :P
They are. Don’t tell the Blood Legion but Ash were much more helpful.
Basically, the Ash Legion almost outright told me that it was tower defence, which was hilarious. It was funny watching the writers wheels’ turning in regards to ‘how can we say this is tower defence without actually just outright saying that it’s tower defence?’ And that’s what it was.
I just found the Ash Legion option easier myself, because I’ve played tower defence games. And it waaas. There was a maze, there were choke points, and the turrets were towers, of course. You could pick them up, move them around, and essentially just use the environment and the turrets to your advantage.
It’s pretty fun when you get the boss trapped between three turrets and he dies almost instantly. >_>;
