when you reblog a long thing usually it’ll give you an option at the top “reblog as text” or “reblog as link” as a link cuts it down to just your reply, and makes it a link to the full convo. hope this helps! :)

That does help! I didn’t know you could do that. Thank you!!! Okay, there’s a big conversation tree a little bit down that I’m going to try that on as an edit. It might not work in an edit (we’ll see), but at least I know for future reference.
